I get it that alkaline water is the best, but the price tag of the Life Ionizer is out of my comfort zone. What’s the next best thing? What are the alternatives, if we can’t afford an ionizer? Thanks.

I am interested in this as well as Robyn’s opinion on water softeners. For or against, and what kind? I’m sick of trying to clean the hard water build up in my showers and appliances, but I’m not sure if it’s good or bad to bathe in softened water. I used to think it would be way better to bathe in softened water, but now I wonder if it depends on how the water is softened. I know Robyn has mentioned a charcoal type filter you can install for the shower, but is that the same as a water softening system for the whole house?
IDK, we used our tax money to get a Jupiter water ionizer. I adore it. :)
Find a local spring to collect water from. go to http://www.fiindaspring.com
I’ve been wondering the same – I don’t have the cash right now to purchase a ionizer, but have found these stick ionizers that they say you can put in your water bottle to ionize it – has anyone used or heard of these?
Bekki
Crystal – Do you also use a reverse osmosis? Or just the jupiter?
I’m a fan of water softeners for the obvious household convenience reasons, but please don’t drink “softened” (high-sodium) water. My reverse osmosis system gets rid of all the bad stuff, and then the water at the kitchen sink flows through a coral calcium remineralizer and then through the ionizer.
Remember we do group buys occasionally to get GSG readers wholesale pricing on Life Ionizer (what I have, and it’s fantastic). More info here:

From what I know of how water is ionized, I don’t trust the sticks. I used sodium chlorite drops, before getting my machine, and noticed NO impact on our health/energy like I did with drinking the ionized water.
Have heard VERY good things about the ionizer sticks–from many people.
I don’t have one. I intend to buy one. What is the reason to distrust them?
Betsy, can you include a link to the ionizer sticks youKve heard good things about?
If you add ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops to distilled water would you still need to add an additional alkalizing agent to get the proper Ph?
