Thank you so much for your patience as we put the ordering process together . . . we are excited to announce that we’re finally able to take orders in this year’s group buy:
https://gsmg.infusionsoft.com/cart/store.jsp?view=1&i=3&navicat=3
The most important part of our buy is raw almonds because they simply aren’t available anywhere else. They are a critical part of your high-nutrition, raw-food, plant-based diet. They are high in fiber and protein, and rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. You cannot get truly raw almonds anymore through retailers, and if anything says “raw,” that just means “not roasted.” California law in September 2007 mandated pasteurization of almonds, which kills enzyme potential through heat.
That’s why I do this group buy. I get truly raw almonds (only $3/lb. if you get 100 lbs. or more) before they are shipped out to be pasteurized and fumigated and shipped back to the rancher. You can soak the almonds overnight, dehydrate them below 116 degrees, and have an incredible, sprouted, delicious snack year-round.
(Need a dehydrator? Here’s my recommendation for the best one, designed to preserve enzymes and nutrients:
http://www.greensmoothiegirl.com/robyn-recommendations/dehydrators/)
This buy is possible because of a loophole in the law allowing 100 lbs. to be sold to any one individual. You will be asked to provide a name of the recipient of each 100 lbs. of almonds in the order.
You can order for JUST YOURSELF, or you can order for your community of people interested in nutrition and raw plant food.
You can create a repeatable income stream for yourself by signing up for our mailing list as a co-op organizer. It’s free, and I’ll be helping you however I can, to build a list and do group buys once a year or more often, in your community. People will be so thankful to you, and it’s not only a tax writeoff, but also a business that does well in tough economic times when people are putting their money towards preparedness and essentials. Sign up for the list here and we’ll send you an order form to distribute with markups giving you 20-30% profit, as well as a list of profit margin on each item for your records. Here’s where you sign up:

We also have, this year, fabulous raw honey, raw/organic agave, cold-pressed organic coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil, and a number of nuts and seeds for great prices. All of these items are staples in your high-nutrition pantry and food storage. All of these items feature prominently in my program 12 Steps to Whole Foods and the recipe collections on GreenSmoothieGirl.com.
Before writing us an email, since this order is certain to swamp our customer-service abilities, please check our Frequently Asked Questions first:
http://www.greensmoothiegirl.com/group-buy/faq/
We are providing interesting high-nutrition items like a fabulous high-nutrition weight-loss aid, chia seed, and my favorite sweetener, raw agave. I want to educate you about each item’s nutritional properties, how long it will store, and how to use the item. On the GreenSmoothieGirl.com home page, just click on Group Buy and choose an item you want to learn about.
This group buy will remain open on the site until November 30. If we run out of capacity on raw almonds, that part of the buy will close and that will be indicated in the GreenSmoothieGirl.com store. I do not anticipate running out of anything in the first month of the order (October). Orders taken now will not ship until the 3rd or 4th week of October, since the almonds are harvested starting Oct. 15 and we have to get them here from California. You can place additional orders, but keep in mind that shipping cost goes down based on volume purchased (only $0.25/lb. for orders of 1,100 lbs. or more).
If you can pick up in Lindon, Utah, you can avoid shipping cost by entering UTAH in the Order Summary Special Code field as you order (use all capitals). In that case, you will be notified about when/where to pick up in an email in late October.

I would like to order 100 lbs.

Robyn – I getting q’s about sulfite on the apricots. Can you help me out? Thanks.
Dear Robyn,
I live in London, England. I don’t know if I can get your recommended items here. Any advice?
Thanks,
Sharron
is the virgin olive oil cold or first pressed and how long will it last? (are the bottles clear or opaque?
what brand is the blue agave? I’d like to know for SURE it’s a reputable source-
are the “chopped” dates covered in oat flour? (and thus not safe for celiacs?)–the picture doesn’t show–so I wasn’t sure.
are the dried apricots covered in sulfites? what is used to keep them orange?!
shredded coconut—what perservative is used to keep it?
THANKS
What is the cost for shipping the 100 lbs to Florida. Also do I keep such a large amt in the fridge or what is the shelf life?
I assume the sesame seeds are also raw? correct?
Does someone have to sign for the delivery arrival as we may be out of town when it arrives. Do we get an Estimated time /date?
Thanks
Jenni here, GSG admin,
Many questions about the almond group buy are answered here:
http://www.greensmoothiegirl.com/group-buy/faq/
Yes, the sesame seeds are raw!
Have a great day!
I have gotten so much interest in such a short time…I am really excited to offer these prices in our area and can’t wait to see what happens as the word is spread even more! One thing I am confused about is that I didn’t realize this was a once a year order!!!??? Can we order more than once a year or is this just a yearly thing?
Jenni here, GSG Admin
Yes, the apricots and coconut are sulfured.
We now are offering organic for both products that are sulfite free!

Hi Claudia,
I apologize but we can’t ship outside of the US currently.
Could you tell me of a reliable place, to buy milk thistle seeds
I don’t understand why your are seling coconuts and apricots that are sulfured!! My understanding is that you want “no sulfites added” dried fruit!! Please clarify! Thank you, LaNae

Lala,
Robyn will add answers to your questions on the FAQ page. You can find that here:
http://www.greensmoothiegirl.com/group-buy/faq/
Have a great day!
Just yearly, when the almonds come out of the trees. Glad you’re getting lots of interest!
Is it possible to find out the source of the coconut oil? In other words, where are the coconuts grown? I am wondering how the oil is processed. I’ve heard the best is centrifical force extraction.
Thanks!
Coconut oil comes from the Philippines and yes, it is cold pressed.
I am looking into getting organic raw almonds and organic dried apricots and shredded coconut (without sulfite). Watch for those items to show up in the buy–I am trying.
HOORAY!! thanks–if you do get them–make sure to put up lots of info for them (how they are preserved, etc) THANKS
Robyn, I’ve been asked if the honey is pasteurized/organic. What can you tell me about this?
Thanks so much!
Are the almonds in the shell?
Honey is virtually impossible to certify organic, since no one within so many miles can spray, but my beekeeper doesn’t use chemicals and it is fully RAW.
Please see the FAQ, everyone. Almonds are OUT of the shell.
I signed up last week for more info on setting up a co-op but have not received anything. Am I missing something?
I am trying to find out shipping costs for the Blue Agave. How much does a gallon weigh?
Thanks,
Laura
Opps forgot to ask the weight of the olive oil and coconut oil as well.
Thanks,
Laura

Connie,
Rex at GSG.com is working on an order form for you, and a list of what profit that provides you. We’re sorry that we haven’t gotten that out yet–working out kinks in the store has taken up too much of his time.
Thanks for your patience. He hopes to have that out to you in the next couple of days.
Have a great day!
Just making sure you got my order for the raw almonds. I haven’t heard anything back. Thanks.

Tiffany,
Please email me with your last name and any order information you might have. I will look into your order. My email is support123@greensmoothiegirl.com.
What is the weight for shipping the agave, green drink, coconut oil, and olive oil? Thanks, Cyd
Opps, I found this answer in another blog entry for group buy shipping weight info:
three gallons of coconut oil: 23.1 lbs.
four gallons of agave: 46.26 lbs.
VitaMineral Green case: 17.6 oz x 6 bottles = 6.6 lbs.
EV olive oil: still finding out
Do you have the olive oil weight yet? Thanks, Cyd
The shipping weight info should probably get entered in the FAQ section when you find the time. :)
Jenni here, GSG Admin
Hi Cyd,
The EVOO is 46 lbs.
Robyn, can you repeat your info on keeping the large quantities of group buy raw almonds insect-free using food grade diatomaceous earth. How much is required per pound and do you just mix it throughout the container?
Is all food grade is equal? Some is packaged like supplements and some come from garden supply. You listed a source, which I vaguely recall, sold in large quantity. Do you use it for other things?
Thanks for being such a wise and generous resource!
