Virgin coconut oil is a good fat to eat. It won't make you fat. Since it has nutritive value, you're body knows what to do with it.

What's a quality brand/place to buy? I'm pregnant this spring and obviously won't be taking the occasional claritin that I'd normally use. If I'm going to start with the pollen, it's time to get on it!

I've found the best way for me to use the pollen is start with a few granules in your smoothie then the next day and so on add a few more to each smoothie until you take the spoonful amount. I used to have seasonal sensitivity to pollen and budding trees but not anymore. I started first with a year of raw local honey (teaspoon/day) and raw local honey of a place I visit a lot. Then I started the bee pollen. I had a great fall and I am looking forward to the spring bloom! Make sure you buy a great quality of pollen from a lot of places and keep it in your fridge.
